The Club
Phoenix Futsal Club draws predominantly from NSFA and NWSFA, with its base on Sydney’s North Shore.
In 2026, Phoenix home games will be played at Dural.
The club competes in the Football NSW NPL 2 competition and prides itself on being a fair, family-friendly club that places a high value on sportsmanship, fair play, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Teams
Phoenix will select representative teams of 10–12 players for one team in each age group:
• Boys Academy (10–11), 12s, 14s, 16s, Youth Men (19 & Under), Men’s
• Girls Academy (10–12), 13s, 15s, 18s, Women’s
• AWD (Athletes with Disability)
Trials
Trials will be held as advertised. Details will be posted on the Phoenix website and emailed to all players who nominate.
Selection Notification
Selection will not be announced on the day of the trials.
Offers will be emailed within 7 days of the second trial and posted on the Phoenix website one week later.
Playing Fees
As a club fully funded by player registration fees, Phoenix requires all player fees to be paid in full by 15th August 2026, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Fee Payments
Season fees cover court fees for training and playing, coaching fees, referee fees, uniforms, FNSW costs and administration costs.
All season registration fees are paid through Teamfeepay.
Football NSW registration and insurance are paid through PlayFootball.
Anyone experiencing financial hardship may apply to Ros Hunter for a payment plan.
Uniform
Phoenix will introduce a new uniform for Season 2026, which will also be used in 2027, as part of a two-year cycle.
A full uniform, included in applicable registration costs, consists of 2 playing shirts (home and away), 1 pair of playing shorts, 1 pair of socks, a polo shirt, and a kit bag.
Additional individual items such as shorts, socks, bags, and supporters’ shirts can be purchased through the Phoenix Futsal Shop which will be operated by our uniform provider.

Season Dates
Training consists of one 1 to 1.5 hour session per week per team, usually at Pymble Ladies’ College (Monday), Mount St Benedict’s, Pennant Hills (Wednesday and Thursday), or Barker College MPH, Hornsby (Thursday), commencing mid-August. Training runs through the school holidays up to 4 December.
Training details will be finalised by mid July.
Trial matches will commence from 30 August 2025 (TBC).
Competition (14 matches): Round 1–14 runs from Saturday 12th September to Saturday 5th December 2026.
Finals series: 12 and 20 December 2025 (semi-finals and finals) – not applicable for Academy teams.
Home games are played at The Centre, Dural, commencing from 8:00am.
Sponsorship
We are always seeking appropriate club or team sponsorships. Should a player secure a suitable private sponsorship, their playing fees will be reduced. Sponsorship packages are available for both club and team support.

Expectations
During the season, players are expected to attend weekly training sessions of 1 to 1.5 hours and be available for all games.
Players may also be asked to sit on the bench for the next age group.
Please advise the club early of any unavailability.
As a representative team, players are not guaranteed equal court time.
This is at the discretion of the team coach; however, all coaches endeavour to provide court time and support the development of all players.
For semi-finals and finals, coaches may select players as they see fit to achieve the best outcome for the team.
All Phoenix Club members are required to show respect to players, coaches, spectators, and officials.
Parents and players are asked to support coaches and respect coaching decisions.
All players, parents, and coaches are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times.
Game Day
Players must arrive at least 45 minutes before their scheduled kick-off time.
Players are to wear their playing shorts, polo shirt, and covered shoes (no thongs).
Game Day Parent Roster
Parents may be rostered as 2 crowd control officials for all games
Committee and Team Managers
We will be looking for volunteers to join the Phoenix Futsal Committee.
